Continuing my quest to create a new piece of art every day for 30 days…
I don’t know what the prompt was for day 19 but I already had an idea in my head. I wanted to use my common theme of circles and lines, plus using implied edges to the circles which I’ve done before. I also wanted to try doing more overlapping of lines and patterns. I liked how it had worked out on day 16 so wanted to try more of that. This was the result:

I like the concept, especially the crossed lines but I don’t like how I placed the circles. If it is turned to the side it looks a bit like a fat baby playing with balls!
For day 20 I was really pressed for time so decided to try creating shapes with siniigle lines. I used some special masking tape to block out the long rectangular sections which worked well until I had to pull them off. Unfortunately it ripped the paper in places.

From there it really didn’t feel like enough so I used a plastic circle template and simply drew lines within the different sized circles, placing them where I thought it would be pleasing to the eye but it couldn’t save the picture.
Unfortunately it just doesn’t work well as an overall composition. Still, I learned from the process and that is part of what I want to achieve in the 30 day challenge. That day I learned not to try this piece again!
