30/30 challenge – day 30

Finally! Day 30 of this crazy 30 day challenge to create a new artwork every day.

Yay I’m finally at the end of this challenge, which has indeed been challenging. But what to do on this last day? Since I’m preparing to do a “pattern of patterns” for the interim show, how about a mini version?

This was quite fun to make. I love how the mini versions of my previous works are recognisable to anyone who has followed me on this journey. At the same time the composition can work as its own piece.

However I will admit that there were supposed to be 12 squares, not 9. But since I only got back from skiing at 9pm I ran short of time to submit my piece. So I cropped the paper to only show 9 squares instead so I could submit the artwork before the 11:30 deadline.

I couldn’t fall at the final hurdle!! Phew! 30 days are DONE!!! Stay tuned for a summary of my overall experience of this epic challenge.
